So what is movement meditation?
It is a practice that focuses on intentionally guiding and circulating energy throughout your body. By combining purposeful movements, breathing techniques, and focused intentions, to achieve a harmonious flow of energy.
The goal?
To clear out blockages, get your energy flowing freely, and boost your overall well-being. By directing energy through specific pathways (meridians - the ley lines of energy and flow within the body), you can work on improving your physical health, finding emotional balance, and sharpening your mental clarity.
This kind of meditation is an excellent restorative technique that helps release tension, recharge your energy, and deepen your connection with yourself.

Prefer breathwork?
Satori now offers breathing meditation based on gentle breathwork on alternate Sundays.
Breathwork taps into the powerful connection between the respiratory system and the nervous system. Again we are able to use our energy to better effect.
The goal?
With various techniques we start focusing on relaxing and calming the body to naturally fall into a better and deeper breathing cycle. By using our belly, diaphragm and lower dantian we can change the way we breath and train our bodies to breath in a better way and more fully.
As we consciously alter the rate, depth, and pattern of breathing, we shift our state of awareness, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve focus and clarity.
When we take deeper breaths, we are less likely to trigger into flight or fight mode that happens through our already shallow lung breathing.
